From November 7 to 9, the 60th Student Athletics Meet of Xiamen University(XMU) was held at the Yanwu Track and Field Stadium and Shangxian Field on the Siming Campus, XMU. The athletes of International College(IC), filled with high morale and competitive spirit, gave their all on the field, pouring out their sweat and showcasing their youthful vitality and determination.

At the opening ceremony, the International College contingent, dressed in blue college uniforms, formed creative formations displaying the letters "IC" and held up "Happy Birthday" signboards to celebrate the college's 20th anniversary. With resolute steps and perfect synchronization, their procession moved like a flowing ocean, embodying IC students' lofty ideals of exploring the world. Their powerful chant of "Cherish Our Nanqiang, Embark on Dreams, Study Abroad for Our Nation, Aspire Globally!" echoed across the stadium, demonstrating the college's educational philosophy of serving the country through international education and showcasing the vibrant spirit of both faculty and students.

During the Baduanjin demonstration, the students performed each movement with a harmonious balance of strength and grace, conveying the profound depth of traditional Chinese culture through their fluid and composed presentation. Their excellent performance earned them the third prize in the fitness qigong competition.

On the track, speed, trust, and perseverance intertwined to write a compelling story of competition. Sprinters dashed like arrows released from bows, relay teams passed the baton with seamless coordination, and long-distance runners measured their dreams with steadfast strides. In the field events, strength, skill, and transcendence took turns commanding the stage. The shot put traced graceful arcs through the air, the high jump and long jump challenged the limits of space, and the kangaroo hop relay showcased fearless agility in every bound.

The 26 athletes from IC embodied their convictions through action: they competed to surpass their personal limits and fought for the honor of their team! After intense competition, our college's athletes achieved outstanding results, securing strong placements across multiple events.
